These courses are approved by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission TABC and meet the certification requirements of all Texas employers, cities and counties. The TABC Texas Responsible Serving Certification is not mandatory, however most employers require bartenders, seller servers and cashiers in the restaurant food and beverage industry to be “TABC Certified”, which means the employee must take and pass this seller/server alcohol awareness training program.

The Study Material and final exam will take at least 2 hours. The exam is timed for 90 minutes and will need to be completed in one sitting

There are 25 questions on the final exam. To pass the exam, you must receive a minimum grade of 70%. The exam must be completed in one sitting.

When you purchase your course, you will have three (3) opportunities to pass the Knowledge Check exam per module and two (2) opportunities to pass the final exam. If you fail a PVQ 3 times or fail to enter your PVQ within the allotted 60 second time 3 times, fail the Knowledge Check test 3 times or fail the final exam 2 times, you will be required to repurchase the course.

In most cases, it is because the billing information for your credit/bank card does not match the billing address in your profile. This is to prevent attempted fraud.
Other reasons could insufficient funds in your account or the security phrase was not entered correctly.

This is a self paced course that saves your progress, so you can work on it when the time is convenient for you. However, module knowledge checks and the final exam must complete it in one sitting.

Most states require us to verify your identity at various times while taking your course to verify the correct person is actually taking the course.

You are required to select 12 PVQ questions and provide appropriate answers for each before you can begin your course.

If you submit an incorrect answer to a PVQ question, you will be given another opportunity to try again. If you fail your PVQ three (3) times within the same module, you will automatically fail the course and be required to repurchase the course.

We are able to track PVQ answers within your course. If you feel that your PVQ answer was correct, we will check the PVQ log from your course and verify if your answer was correct or not.
Most states require that if your PVQ answers are incorrect and you fail the PVQ three times you will not pass the course. You will be required to repurchase and rrtake the course.

You can log into you Seller Server account from any computer. This allows you to access your account and print your certificate from any computer with internet access and printer. This could be at work, a public library, a friend or family member's house, or career placement center.

To reset your password, select "support" from the menu. You can then click the "reset your password here" link on the right of the page

No, your username automatically generates when you create your account and is your first initial and last name, sometimes followed by a number. You will receive a welcome email after you create your account with your login information.

It does not cost anything to get a duplicate seller server certificate.
You may sign in to your account and reprint your Seller Server certificate any time you want from any computer with internet access until the expiration date of the certificate.

Your Seller Server certificate is good for two to four years depending on your location. The expiration date of your certificate can be found on your Seller Server certificate.
